We Built a Credibility-First Website for AGL Drone Imagery
AGL Drone Imagery is run by Dominick Schilleci, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief and former FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, offering thermal imaging, aerial photography, and site inspection services. The site needed to put his safety credentials front and center while making a wide service range easy to navigate.

Primary Goal
Turn certifications into contact requests
What We Built
A service catalog and a credentials page, working together
The build had to do two things equally well: make a wide range of aerial services easy to browse, and make Dominick's safety credentials impossible to miss.
Service Lines Structured
From thermal imaging and 3D site models to roofing documentation and public safety support, each given a clear place on the site.
Certifications Surfaced
FAA Part 107, A&P, FCC, UAS Thermography, USCG Auxiliary RPIC, and OSHA certification presented as trust signals.
Industries Served
Real estate, construction, insurance, public safety, and agriculture each given service framing suited to that audience.
Founder Story, Built In
Dominick's Coast Guard and FAA Aviation Safety Inspector background positioned as the site's core trust signal.
Note: these figures describe the service lines and certifications organized during the build, based on the live agldroneimagery.com site - not measured traffic or lead outcomes.
The Problem
A technical, safety-critical business that needed to look like one
Drone services live or die on trust. An insurance adjuster or a construction manager hiring a UAS operator wants to see licensing and discipline, not just aerial photos.
CHALLENGE 01
Ten-plus services, and no single obvious "main" one
Thermal imaging, aerial photo/video, 2D/3D mapping, roofing documentation, stockpile assessment, insurance claims support, and public safety work all needed a clear home instead of one long list.
CHALLENGE 02
Serious credentials needed to read as trust, not jargon
FAA Part 107, an A&P license, FCC licensing, and UAS thermography certification mean a lot to an insurance adjuster or a construction manager - but only if the site presents them clearly instead of listing acronyms.
CHALLENGE 03
The founder's background is the actual differentiator
Dominick Schilleci is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief and former FAA Aviation Safety Inspector. That is not a bio footnote - for safety-critical aerial work, it is the reason a client should choose AGL over a hobbyist with a drone.
CHALLENGE 04
Different industries needed to see themselves on the site immediately
A roofing contractor, an insurance adjuster, a real estate agent, and an emergency response coordinator all need drone services for different reasons. The site had to speak to each of them without becoming five separate websites.
What We Improved
From a generic drone site to a safety-first, industry-organized one
The work focused on making Dominick's aviation safety background impossible to miss, and making every service easy to find by the industry that actually needs it.
Certifications moved to the front
FAA Part 107, A&P license, FCC license, and UAS Thermography certification presented as primary trust signals, not an About-page afterthought.
Services grouped by industry
Real estate, construction, insurance, public safety, and agriculture each given a clear path instead of one long undifferentiated service list.
Veteran-owned identity built into the core message
Dominick's Coast Guard and FAA Aviation Safety Inspector background is positioned as the reason for AGL's safety-first approach, not a separate bio section.
A single, clear path to contact
Every service page leads back to the same straightforward next step: get in touch for a quote.
The Solution
A website structured around trust, then services
Credentials first, then a service catalog organized the way clients actually think about the work - by industry, not by drone jargon.
Website Design & Build
Designed and built the site structure around AGL's actual service categories rather than a generic drone-company template.
Credentials as Trust Signals
Gave Dominick's certifications a dedicated, prominent presence instead of burying them in a bio paragraph.
Aerial & Thermal Services
Structured the core imaging services so each one is easy to find on its own.
Industry-Specific Pages
Organized services by the industries that actually hire AGL, instead of one generic capabilities list.
Veteran-Owned Positioning
Built Dominick's Coast Guard and FAA background into the site's core trust narrative.
GoHighLevel Platform
Built the site on GoHighLevel to keep the website and contact intake on a single platform.

Build Benchmarks
What the build was structured to solve
A UAS services company sells trust as much as imagery. We built around the specific gaps that keep a technical, safety-first business from converting visitors into quote requests.
Challenge
Ten-plus services risk turning into one undifferentiated list
Vareweb Approach
Services grouped by industry: real estate, construction, insurance, public safety, agriculture
Challenge
FAA Part 107, A&P, and thermography certifications easy to bury in an About page
Vareweb Approach
Certifications surfaced as primary trust signals across the site
Challenge
Dominick's Coast Guard / FAA Aviation Safety Inspector background is a real differentiator, not just a bio line
Vareweb Approach
Safety-first, veteran-owned positioning built into the core messaging
Challenge
Multiple industries need a fast, obvious way to request a quote
Vareweb Approach
One consistent contact / quote path repeated across every service page
Process
How we built the project
Credentials and service audit first, then a trust-first layout, then the build, then a full QA pass before launch.
01 / AUDIT
Credentials & Service Audit
Catalogued every certification - FAA Part 107, A&P, FCC, UAS Thermography - and every service line before structuring the site.
02 / DESIGN
Trust-First Layout Design
Designed a homepage and service structure that leads with Dominick's aviation safety background instead of generic drone marketing.
03 / BUILD
Build & Service Page Development
Built dedicated sections for real estate, construction, insurance, and public safety use cases.
04 / LAUNCH
QA & Launch
Tested every service section and contact path before taking the site live.
When the work itself is safety-critical, the website's job is to prove that before anyone picks up the phone. Certifications, licensing, and a real aviation background do more for conversion than any drone footage reel.
Vareweb Project NoteRetired Coast Guard Senior Chief
Dominick Schilleci's military aviation safety background sits at the center of AGL's positioning, not on a separate About page.
Former FAA Safety Inspector
AGL's safety-first approach is backed by Dominick's prior role as an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector.
Certifications surfaced
FAA Part 107, A&P license, FCC license, UAS Thermography, USCG Auxiliary RPIC, and OSHA certification all given visibility.
